Séminaire | Modeling of Thermal Processes in a Solar Assisted Heat Pump Systems
18 novembre 2021 @ 14h00 - 17h00
Yerzhan Belyayev
Department of Mechanics, Al-Farabi KazNU University, Almaty (Kazakhstan)
Amankeldy Toleukhanov
Department of Mechanical Engineering, Satbayev University, Almaty (Kazakhstan)
(invité par Olivier BOTELLA)
Within the framework of the seminar, the results of work on modeling thermal processes in various nodes of a solar assisted heat pump will be presented. Various modeling approaches will be presented: engineering calculations for design based on EES (Engineering Equation Solver) software, system simulation approach for time variable system behavior based on TRNSYS 18.0 modeling approach, CFD simulation of thermal processes in heat exchangers.
These calculations will be demonstrated based on the results of the current project “Study of heat transfer enhancement mechanisms of vertical type borehole heat exchanger to ensure high heat pump performance” implemented in Kazakhstan. These are calculations for CFD simulation of two-phase boiling/condensation flow in the heat exchanger tube, as well as the thermal performance a borehole heat exchanger.
Dr. Belyayev and Dr. Toleukhanov are holders of a grant from the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan (CAMPUS France) for short-term postdoctoral research in France. Under the supervision of Professor Olivier Botella, research is being conducted on modeling two-phase heat transfer during boiling and condensation based on ANSYS Fluent. Work is underway with Professor Botella on CFD modeling of different complex physical processes in renewable energy technologies. Other research works on renewable energy systems and visions for cooperation with LEMTA on renewable energy research will also be presented as part of the presentation.
