[Flashback] Staff Day

Thursday 22 June 2023 was the 2nd highlight of the LEMTA’s fiftieth anniversary, with the organisation of a day dedicated to staff. A total of 120 colleagues gathered at Fort PĂ©lissier (a leisure area set up in a former military fort) for a “colourful” day! 😊

Here’s a look back at a day dedicated to sharing, reflection and relaxation in an exceptional setting.

After a welcome from Olivier Lottin – Director, focus on the latest news from the laboratory and announcement of the 6 working/discussion groups.

The staff then split into groups to discuss and exchange views on the proposed themes. The aim was to come up with proposals and ideas for rapid implementation to improve our living conditions and best practices within our laboratory:

  • Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility (SDRS), led by Thierry Boileau & Julia Mainka
  • Internal communication, led by CĂ©line Morville & Christelle Moine
  • The LEMTA in 50 years’ time, led by Michel Gradeck & Lucas Terrei
  • My life as a doctoral student/post-doctoral student at LEMTA, led by Marine Elmaalouf & Jean-Christophe Perrin
  • ParitĂ©/EDI (Equality – Diversity – Inclusion), led by Christel MĂ©tivier & Sandrine Rosin
  • Open Sciences, led by Olivier Farges & Anthony Collin

The final report from each of the groups demonstrated the interest and commitment of everyone involved in changing practices, and raised a lot of questions.

After the effort, the comfort: Plancha party and various activities in the afternoon!

It was an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and strengthen links to improve the Quality of Life and Working Conditions (QLWC)!

And a big well done to our 6 sportsmen and women who cycled from Nancy to Fort PĂ©lissier and back: 50 km round trip for Lemta’s 50th anniversary! đŸšŽđŸŒâ€â™€ïž
