[General Public Evening] Fire: its life, its death

In echoes of the 19th edition of the Jardin Ephémère at Place Stanislas in Nancy, this year on the theme of “fire”, Sciences en Lumière proposes an evening “Fire: its life, its death“.

Around a🔥, two Nancy researchers from different disciplines will talk about their research:

Rabah MEHADDI – lecturer at Polytech Nancy and researcher at LEMTA, will explain his research on the life of fire, its combustion, its propagation, and what his research can bring to firefighters for example.

Laurent TISSANDIER – CNRS research engineer at the CRPG, will talk about fire from a geological point of view. He will also talk about the materials that can be made thanks to “fire” such as glass.

📅 Saturday, October 1, starting at 6:30 p.m.
